MS Lending Group | Bespoke Luxury Miniature Drinks Advent Calendars (2022–2024)
MS Lending Group, a leading UK financial service provider, offers personalised loans from small amounts to multimillion-pound facilities. Focused on delivering a fast, flexible, and highly personal approach, MS Lending wanted to extend their brand values into a memorable client gifting strategy for the festive season.
For three consecutive years — 2022, 2023, and 2024 — Magellan collaborated with MS Lending to create a series of bespoke advent calendars. These luxurious advent calendars were filled with miniature drinks and premium chocolates, designed to delight recipients while promoting brand loyalty in a unique and festive way.
Shared Calendar Specifications
Throughout all three years, MS Lending’s custom advent calendars shared a consistent foundation to maintain a cohesive brand presence. Each branded advent calendar was built using a premium 3mm rigid board outer case featuring two secure magnetic closure doors. Inside, 24 drawers made from folding box board offered sturdy, reliable compartments, each featuring half-moon thumb cuts to ensure effortless opening.
The calendars were finished with full CMYK advent calendar printing and a smooth anti-scuff matte lamination to protect and enhance the vibrant design. With external dimensions of 335mm (length) x 225mm (height) x 130mm (depth) and individual drawers measuring 120mm x 50mm x 50mm, the structure remained consistent across all editions. Each calendar was personally fulfilled, carefully packaged with protective layers, and individually dispatched to clients throughout the UK, ensuring a pristine, luxurious presentation on arrival.
2024: Tailoring Client Experience with Alcohol and Chocolate Options
By 2024, MS Lending’s festive strategy had grown even more sophisticated. Recognising the diversity among their clientele, they introduced two variations of their custom advent calendars — one featuring miniature alcoholic drinks and another filled with premium chocolates.
The alcohol version maintained the excitement of 24 unique miniature bottles, carefully selected to include favourites such as Kraken Rum, Absolut Citron, Bombay Sapphire, Malibu, and Southern Comfort. The chocolate edition, meanwhile, featured a delightful assortment of Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate bars and Lindor truffles, offering a luxurious non-alcoholic alternative.
The same refined design standards were applied across both editions, with a vibrant CMYK print finish, an anti-scuff matte lamination, and the strong magnetic door closure — ensuring every calendar, whether drinks or chocolate, felt equally luxurious and carefully crafted. With 200 units produced in total, this tailored approach allowed MS Lending to offer personalised gifting experiences that catered to a wider audience while strengthening client relationships.
