This bespoke beauty advent calendar was developed as a premium festive presentation for skincare, cosmetics, fragrance and self-care products. The project required a substantial structure that could hold products of different sizes while delivering the luxury appearance expected from a high-end beauty campaign.

Rather than adapting a standard calendar format, the case and internal arrangement were developed around the intended product collection. This allowed smaller samples, full-size beauty products and larger hero gifts to be accommodated within one coordinated design.

The finished calendar combined a reusable double-door rigid board case, 25 custom drawers, protective internal packaging and a celestial design featuring full-colour printing and reflective gold foil.

Double-Door Beauty Advent Calendar with Rigid Board Construction

The calendar was manufactured using a substantial two-piece rigid board construction measuring 460mm wide, 440mm high and 160mm deep. These dimensions provided the capacity required for a varied beauty collection while creating an impressive presentation piece.

Two hinged doors were securely mounted to a solid tray base, giving the structure the strength needed to support heavier skincare jars, cosmetics and glass fragrance bottles. The doors opened smoothly to reveal the complete drawer arrangement and could be closed securely between uses.

A wide cross-grain ribbon was threaded through 40mm oval slots in the doors, providing both the central bow and the functional closure. The durable construction also meant the calendar could be retained and reused after the festive countdown.

Custom Drawers, Product Protection and Booklet Storage

The interior contained 25 drawers in a range of carefully planned sizes. This allowed the collection to include slim cosmetics, serums, skincare jars, tubes, fragrance bottles and larger hero products without relying on standard compartments.

Each drawer was manufactured from 1.5mm rigid board and separated by 3mm wrapped board dividers. The complete drawer system was secured inside a heavy-duty tray to keep every compartment correctly aligned.

Shredded paper cushioned the contents and reduced movement during transportation. Where additional protection was required, the drawers could also accommodate foam fitments or bespoke inserts designed around individual products.

A dedicated pocket was incorporated into the inside of one hinged door to hold an information booklet. This provided space for product details, ingredients or campaign messaging without reducing the capacity of the main drawer area.

Celestial Artwork, Gold Foil and Premium Print Finishes

The calendar was wrapped in a lightly textured navy paper selected for its premium appearance and resistance to visible marking. This created a durable base for the celestial artwork and metallic detailing.

Full-colour printing was combined with reflective gold foil across the branding, moons, stars, constellations and drawer numbers. The contrast between the navy exterior, cream and lilac drawers and metallic gold details created a coordinated luxury finish.

Artwork was adapted across the doors, side panels, internal surfaces and separate drawer fronts. The completed calendar brought together strong construction, practical product protection and high-end print finishing for premium retail, PR gifting and limited-edition beauty campaigns.
